Coadministration has not been studied but based on metabolism and clearance a clinically significant interaction is unlikely. Terbinafine is metabolised by CYPs 2C9, 1A2 and 3A4; these metabolic pathways are not affected by sofosbuvir. Sofosbuvir is a prodrug and formation of its active metabolite is unlikely to be affected by comedications. [Note, terbinafine in patients with chronic or active liver disease has not been studied in prospective clinical trials and therefore can not be recommended for such patients.]
